Equipment Needed: Four or more blocking bags. Description: The linebackers line up in two lines, behind four blocking bags which have been placed side-by-side approximately four to five yards apart. The first linebacker in each line steps up to the left side of the bag and assumes a good movement position. , "ready"), both linebackers start moving their feet quickly in place. The coach then gives a directional signal to start the two linebackers moving laterally over the blocking bags. The linebackers continue moving back and forth over the bags until the coach commands "ready position," which is a signal to the linebackers to reassume the starting position.
